Breaking Ground

As some of you may or may not know the Blackthorne Resort suffered a devastating fire on September 18, 2010. It destroyed our Main Building, which housed our kitchen, dining room, office and bar. As we were truly saddened at the loss of the building, we were also very grateful that no one was hurt. But as we promised everyone, we are rebuilding.

As you can see we have already started and we will keep you all posted on the progress of the new building. Please do not let this deter you from making your vacation plans, booking your family reunions or groups. We will be taking reservations all winter and we will be opened and ready to go for the 2011 season.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported us and helped see us through the rest of the 2010 season.
